Terms of Service

The ground rules for using this website, sending project material and beginning a conversation with our team.

Effective August 27, 2026

Acceptance and scope

These terms govern your access to and use of this website operated by abzd., trading as abzd. (“we”, “us” or “our”). By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

Website information

The website describes our capabilities, experience and approach. Its content is general information, not legal, financial, security or other professional advice, and is not a guarantee that a particular result is available for your project.

We may change, correct, suspend or remove website content at any time. We try to keep information accurate but do not promise that every statement is complete, current or error-free.

Project inquiries are not engagements

Sending a project brief, booking a meeting or communicating with us does not create a client, partnership, employment, fiduciary or other professional relationship. We are not required to accept or respond to an inquiry.

A services engagement begins only when the relevant parties sign a separate proposal, statement of work or agreement. That signed agreement will govern the project and will prevail over these website terms if there is a conflict.

Your submissions

You retain ownership of information and materials you submit. You give us a limited permission to receive, copy, review and use them as reasonably necessary to assess and respond to your inquiry.

You confirm that you have the right to provide the submitted material and that doing so does not violate law or another person’s rights. Do not submit trade secrets, regulated data, export-controlled material or sensitive personal information before appropriate confidentiality and security arrangements are in place.

Website submissions are handled under our Privacy Policy, but they are not automatically covered by a non-disclosure agreement.

Acceptable use

You must not use the website to:

  • break applicable law or infringe another person’s rights;
  • submit malicious code, spam, deceptive or unlawful material;
  • probe, bypass or interfere with security or access controls;
  • overload, scrape or automate access in a disruptive manner;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation; or
  • use website content to build a misleading competing identity.

We may restrict access or reject submissions when reasonably necessary to protect the website, our team, other people or legal rights.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the website design, copy, software, graphics, logos and other content are owned by us or used with permission and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

You may view the website and make a reasonable personal or internal business copy for evaluating our services. No other licence is granted. You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, remove notices from or create derivative works from website content without prior written permission, except where law expressly allows it.

Third-party services and links

The website may link to or use services operated by third parties, including Google Calendar. Their services, availability, content and data practices are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory. We do not warrant uninterrupted access, freedom from harmful components, or that the website will meet your particular requirements. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunities, arising from use of or inability to use this website. Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct where applicable.

Changes, disputes and applicable law

We may update these terms by posting a revised version and changing the effective date. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from that point.

Before starting formal proceedings about this website, you and we agree to make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve the issue directly. Applicable mandatory law and the courts with lawful jurisdiction are not displaced by this section. A signed services agreement may set different governing-law and dispute terms for a project.
